Vendventory Documentation
v1.0.0 Changelog

Supplier Portal and Integrations

Vendventory now has a stronger supplier-collaboration and integration story than the older docs suggested. Supplier follow-up lives in the governance workspaces, and system exchange lives in Integration Hub through import jobs, supplier requests, API tokens, webhook subscriptions, and inbound payload support.

Positioning note: this capability is not a disconnected setup page. It supports Compliance Vault, supplier scorecards, scheduled briefs, and executive review by making document collection and system exchange visible and operational.

Supplier collaboration

Current supplier-collaboration story
  • Suppliers now store recall, quality, and escalation contacts.
  • Suppliers also store compliance status, onboarding status, risk tier, and document-submission preference.
  • Integration Hub can create supplier requests with due dates, status, and notes.
  • Compliance Vault tracks supplier, product, and batch-scoped document pressure.

Integration Hub

What Integration Hub currently surfaces
  • Import jobs for structured data ingestion.
  • API tokens controlled by settings-driven TTL policy.
  • Webhook subscriptions and delivery logging.
  • Inbound payload endpoints and outbound operational feeds.
  • Supplier-request and collaboration records that can be demonstrated in the UI.

Best screens to demonstrate

Recommended pages
  • Suppliers: show contact, escalation, risk, and document-submission fields.
  • Compliance Vault: show live compliance rows and expiry pressure.
  • Integration Hub: show supplier requests, imports, tokens, and webhooks.
  • Supplier Scorecards: show the downstream effect of clean supplier governance data.
  • Scheduled Briefs: show how supplier and integration pressure appears in executive summaries.

Seeded reviewer story

What the deterministic seeder provides
  • An overdue supplier request.
  • Demo integration assets such as token and webhook records.
  • Compliance-linked supplier pressure visible in the governance suite.
  • Executive and scorecard pages that already reference this data.
